I've been up to a terrible amount of fun since my departure from this URL. The most recent crazyness must have been the trip to Austria with my dad and brother. We went skiing in the resort called Saalbach, tanned at 2000 meters up in the air and made fun of all the danish people there. I was quite thrilled to find that after a week of listening to danish guides, I could almost separate a "thank you" from "good morning". Weird language, I tell you.
Now, off to meet Paniz in town. Apparently she has heard of some mysterious lunching place where the food is cheap in Stockholm. I'm still kinda doubting that. But we shall see, and the one who lives shall know. Right? ;D

I've been to our summer house, fought through two devastatingly boring biology labs, had a mysterious disease shared with both Anna and Cissi, had amazing hot chocolate at Maria's, and been to a Sports Gala with grandma.

I just woke up and decided to clean up my room - full of pizza, candy and cheese balls from last night. Seems like I had a party for one. I came across a show on tv about horses, and just realized how much I miss horseback riding. It's been years since I quit, but once in a while it hits me.

Here's me on a horse named Tompa, one amazing summer day. Looking at this picture it feels like I didn't have a care in the world up on that horseback. Well, the biggest concern was probably whether or not I'd fall off that horse without a saddle.

Sometimes I wonder why I'm not there right now.

It seems like there are different theme days here at work. Some days, everybody wants to pay with their snatchy little VISA card. Some days, everybody seems to have just arrived from the bank with brand new 500 bills. Other days, days like this one, everybody wants to pay their sum to the exact number. Standing there, queue behind them growing, they start digging through their bags and purses searching for that final 1 kr missing. That alone could annoy clear thinking out of anybody, and to make things worse it seems to be tradition to realize that you forgot to buy something once you're done with your digging. Oh, hold on just one second, I need to get one thing more.
But hey, it's Saturday and the people who come here are quite entertaining. I'm actually having great fun. And at least this theme is better than the come and pay everything you bought with coins- theme.

This morning I woke up wearing a turtle neck long-sleeved woolen shirt, thick thermals and socks. I was shivering. I don't think I've ever experienced a winter this cold, and as wonderful as this one. The whining under my shoes when I walk on snow is definitely one of the best sounds in the world. Not quite so wonderful when I slip and fall over on icy slippery floors in the bus.
After school last night, Cissi and I spent some time at her place gossiping and starting up the Fredagsmys. Mom picked me up a bit later to take me to grandma's place where we had dinner with the cousins.
Somewhere in between I got an offer to work today, so here I am.
Have a great Saturday!

It was cold, it was wet, it was Dalarna. None of us had ever stood up on these toothpicks of skiis and ever tried to go forward. Sure, down the hill will do just fine, but across? I was in doubt.
Anky, however, was in high spirits. He was out the door before any of us could protest, and after that there was no choice left but to obey. Skiis on, sticks in hand, snow on ground and full of courage. Time to go.

Now, I didn't count which one of us fell the most. I can tell you this though, I was the first to fall. As a matter of fact, I hadn't even moved on my skiis before I fell.

Luckily, Ankit the Hero came to my rescue.

And then of course, there was a snow kram.

My grandmother's comment later that afternoon, when she saw the picture:
Yeah, they like to lie like that, don't they?
